Frac completed December 20-21, 2007
Information Posted December 30th, 2007, Dallas, Texas.

The Ernest 5H well is in the Ernest Field, located next to Snyder Texas, in Scurry County Texas. The Ernest Field is achieving tremendous success for King Operating and its sister company Anderson Drake.

The field is producing oil and gas from the first four wells drilled, the #5H will be online and selling by the first few weeks of January 2008. As of December 30th, the Ernest 6H is scheduled for fracing sometime in January 2008. Ernest 7H is being finished now and being made ready for a frac. Ernest 8H, 9H and 10H will follow in succession. Please note that all details of future drilling are subject to change.

Note: Over 125 photos were taken. For the sake of time, we have reduced the overall photo gallery down to non duplicated photos.

What is a Frac?
A well is "fracced" to stimulate or prolong oil & gas production. Special fluids are pumped into a wellbore with powerful hydraulic pumps to cause enough pressure to crack or fracture the formation. This process creates a plane of high-permeability sand, which usually allows the hydrocarbons to flow more freely into the wellbore. The frac at Ernest 5H was performed by Halliburton.
